If you missed my popular presentation at the Horizons Unlimited Travellers Meeting in Nakusp in August, here’s another chance to catch it. I’m very pleased to be returning to BMW Ducati again to give a talk about my motorcycle adventures across British Columbia. Along with enjoying fine motorcycling around the province, I like to learn something about its past. Whether it be riding the gravel forest service roads to Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park to see what B.C. looked like before human beings showed up to riding the legendary Hurley River Road to get to one of Canada’s most successful former gold mines, I think the motorcycle is the ideal form of transportation to learn more about the province’s history.
